Convergence Center Rostock needs your help
Since three weeks activists have set up the Convergence Center (CC) in a part of the former Ehm-Welk school in Rostock-Evershagen. The aim of the project is to provide the infrastructure for the summit protests and makes the 55 rooms useable for all people and organizations involved in the anticapitalist resistance.
We are calling for anybody to join the build-up process and to support it also with time, power and delight. We need to get more to manage the headed challenges. Beside peope who support our work we need any stuff and tools which can be used for CC-infrastructure.
To fulfil the condition that was adjusted by the spokesperson of the town rostock activists are living and sleeping in that school. These activists are from different movements and groups which are involved in preparing the protests against the g8-summit.
We are still in progress, but until now we togehter built up a kitchen, shower, info-shop, bike-garage, workshop-rooms, cafÈ, tool and creAtivity-room, concert-room, computer-pool, sleepinmg places...this infrastructure will hopefully increase with your help, creativity, ideas and practical work.
This is only the beginning, lots of rooms are still empty and want to be inspirit with your ideas and creativity. We are looking for people who are interested in emancipatority, anticapitalism,

Hot news from Convergence Center Rostock: Intergalactical subversion now!
In the past two weeks interesting things happened in Rostock. Municipal authorities granted an empty school in Evershagen(Suburb) to the protest-movement, with the condition that there have to be people living in the building to protect it from vandalism!? Knowing about the rather uncertain room/ place-situation in Rostock, convergence center crew took this first possibilty and entered concrete/the school on mid march.
Unfortunetly the school has been ripped/ "made empty" before giving the key to us, only leaving an intention to get the school and the yard running for resistance till (before) summit-time! So from now on BE WELCOME to support or visit us! Places to sleep and spaces for workshops should be no problem anymore.
