Anti-fascist Working Group
At the last Dissent meeting in Germany an ANTI-FASCIST WORKING GROUP was established by some anti-fascist activists from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The aim of this project is to organize a powerful and creative resistance against the fascist demonstration in Schwerin at the 2nd of June.
Members of the fascist "Nationaldemocratic Party of Germany" (NPD) are planning a mass demonstration with 1500 neonazis. It's most likely that they try to present themselfes as "the only real anti-capitalists".[more...]

With the slogan, “Against Fascism and Capitalism – For a World without Borders!”, antifascists from Germany and beyond will protest against the planned right-wing extremist march on June 2^nd 2007 in Schwerin. On this day, the regional leader of the German Nationalist Party (NPD), Stefan Koester, previously convicted for grievous bodily harm, has registered a march with over 1000 Neonazis from the whole of Germany.[more...]

Analysis: Neo-Nazis at the G8 summit
BERLIN, May 3 (UPI) — A German neo-Nazi party hopes to benefit from the populist battle between rich and poor by joining the many left-wing groups protesting globalization at this year’s Group of Eight summit in Germany.

The protest against inequality and the detrimental effects of globalization has so far been an exclusive left-wing battleground. Yet Germany’s most popular far-right group, the National Democratic Party, or NPD, claims it has been pursuing the same goals as the likes of ATTAC.[more...]
