A report about the G8 Protests, the EU summit-attack, left mobilisation and the trials of §129a in hamburgThe attack on the „Hanse-Gate“ office at the elbe in hamburg seems to be in the context of the G8-summit in heiligendamm and the eu-foreign-affairs-minster summit in hamburg. The newspaper "hamburger morgenpost" got a declaration of "autonomous anticapitalist groups", who pointed out the bad working conditions in the shipping company which uses the attacked office and named the action as a "warm up" for the G8 and EU summit. On saturday the 14th of April, around 30 persons destroyed plenty of windows of that office and threw paintbombs on it. At the same time, wheels were burned on the street near to the elbe-beach and "Krähenfüße" (metal-constructions to destroy police-cars wheels) were put on the street. The damage is said to be around 10.000 Euro. The observations of the Police after that with 40 cops and 20 cars were without results. The federal "Staatsschutz" was already named to keep on the observations. In the last months, hamburg was a focus-point of anti-g8 activities. In the G8 context there were cars of high-ranking managers and politicians burned the last months. Gate to global Resistance Days of Action and international demonstration In the run-up to heilingendamm hamburg will be a focus of international protests in germany. starting at the 25th of may, the convergence center will open in the Rote Flora, Days of Action are prepared and will be prepared and at the 28th of may a international demonstration with europewide mobilisation will take place. Comrades from london, copenhagen and amsterdam have announced allready that they are interested to join. Link: http://hamburg.dissentnetzwerk.org/MainEnglish The aim is not only a demonstration of a coalition but a nonconform, independent political expression of the undogmatic radical left spectre that mobilise against G8. In practice this means there is a will to get to the summit venue and to protest visible there. These venue will be not only the city hall, but also the congress center hamburg and several hotels in the city. more than 1500 delegates from EU and asia are expected, including all foreign affairs ministers of the EU. For their protection there will be a kind of red zone with more than 5000 cops. There is a coordination of that police"mission" in the common headquarter of the police forces for the G8 and the EU summit. The media worry bout massive confrontation since beginning of this year already. Link: https://hamburg.dissentnetzwerk.org/EU/InHamburgPresse The critic on globalisation is often reduced on a critic against the 8 leading persons, who will meet in heiligendamm. The groups organising this demonstration in hamburg are aiming on a message that it is a more complex structure making neoliberalism and totalitarian capitalism working than the G8. The decline of living conditions we are confronted with are caused on equal level and more intensive from the local powercenters. Regional economic policy, competition of national states and in front of all the european union, actor in the global poltics are to be attacked. The EU summit in hamburg is giving us the chance and the option to attack the G8 politically in a way that is widening the view on the reduced symbolic form in a practical way in the run to the summit. Link to call for demonstration: http://dissent-archive.ucrony.net/dissentnetwork/node/1487 §129a proceedings in context with G8 The mobilisation is clouded by 3 running proceedings of the §129a (terrorist organisation) lead by the BKA. Beginning in January in hamburg a 10-person permanent investigation-group was formed. 5 officers from wiesbaden and 5 from hamburg are leading the investigations. The political scene of hamburg is facing several official and unofficial(!) observations, spionage, recordings and similair attacks out of the arsenal of "fight against terrorism". Because this 129a groups is flying in darkness and has no indices about the potential group, the whole scene in hamburg is in the focus and suspect, of course especially the people working politically on the G8-summit topic. The investigations are run by the BKA (federal criminal office), which does not mean the attacks were so massive, but the context of G8 is sensitive and the LKA (federal-country criminal office) in hamburg is having no sucess the last years. Attacks were not enlightened and trials like the §129 in the context with the watertower in quarter of schanze were not finished. Link: https://hamburg.dissentnetzwerk.org/MainEnglish/TextAntirepressionsgruppe Repression and political perspectives To change this there is a wide observation and data-infiltration going on with a enourmous logistical engagement. There were four kurdish teenagers with molotov-cocktails catched by police in a complete different context. In a press release, the arrest of the four was put in the context of the public security actions for the G8. There are not only concrete observations and object-oriented actions by police but a wide observation of the city of hamburg with the result that every individual walking through the streets alone late in the night or taking the last metro is suspect and a dragnet control is running by civil policemen. Press-release of the police: http://www.presseportal.de/polizeipresse/p_story.htx?nr=956553&firmaid=6337&keygroup= Such an efford was not taking place for years and everyone should take this development seriouse. It seems very probable that in the run to the G8 and the demonstration in hamburg there will be a massive attack of repression in hamburg. The investigation-resonsible are under a public high pressure to show results and they do not have them. In history such a situation with §129a was used by states repressive organs to attack for poltical meanings. In danger to be victim of such an attack are not some conspirative spectres or militant groups but all the people who deal with the G8 and EU summit politically. The answer to such attacks are not to be frighten or to keep silent but solidarity and to develop a wide mobilisation. There is a 80 pages pamphlet published about selfdefence and resistance. There are tips how solidarity can work and how the strategies of police is functioning and what kind of possibilities of observations are existing. ( Link to an article and an adress to get this reader: http://www.jungewelt.de/2007/02-28/015.php) There are other antirepression-guides as well. We ask all of you to use this brochour because every left mobilisation needs a clear and political praxis with states repression. Solidarity and antiautoritharian practice needs not only to be part of campaigns but also of daily life and last but not least in the case of case. Anna and Arthur keeps quiet! No collaboration with cops and courts! Inform yourself about your rights and possibilities! Most of all: Let them not frighten you and organise the protest against the EU summit in hamburg and against the G8!
