Today around 9 am in Cops entered the houseproject Zeppelinstraße 25.
They were 50 masked Cops with helmets plus civil policemen. They broke the gate and tried to enter the house. After we showed up to stop them, they showed a resolution from the potsdam court that said the anti-g8-banner, which is hanging at the house has to be confiscated because it calls for criminal offence. The police was present the day befor allready and in the night around 1 am to film the banner, once in uniform and once in civil clothes. After we gave them the banner they went away. We decided like that because we did not want to escalate the
situation and wanted to stop the police to search the whole house.
Eventhough there were pregnant women and children present and we wanted to prevent danger for them. We as the inhabitants and support of the Zeppelinstraße 25 see this as a harrasment against the free speach and call all the people to engage in the fight against capitalism and G8!
