mobilisation
OUTREACH We spoke about mutual activities to mobilise for both caravans. Both lists should be informed about all such outreach so that there won't be any double work. Please attach info mails/articles you send to groups/newspapers etc. so that others may be able to reuse them ...
- Search for Critical Mass Groups europewide and write to them (R.
english, S. french ...)
- Send reports to the G8 list (g8-2007) and gipfelsoli newsletter (D.)
- Write an article for the BUND-Newspaper "Kritische Masse" (U.)
- Establish contacts to people at universities (D.)
- Ask newspapers from the non-dissent! part of the anti-g8 movement to
publish articles (D.)
Everyone:
- Get local (radical) newspapers to publish reports about the caravans
Further Ideas:
- Mailing list(s) from the Gleneagles/St.Petersburg bikeride(s) still
exists - use them to get infos out ... (can someone publish the address(es)?)
- Look for other related activist networks/lists and inform them
- Ask g8 related webpages to publish a link to our future website
- Create a special (Berlin-specific) Flyer for the last part of the route
Website:
- Both caravans will share one website which should be finished by the
end of February. Until then, we will continue to use the wiki at http://dissentnetzwerk.org/wiki/Fahrradkarawanen_/_bicycle_caravans The shared website will reside under the domain http://www.g8-bikerides.net/ (until the website is finished any visitors will be forwarded to the wiki) and there will be a very simple content management system so that all of us will be able to publish news, infos, "diaries" etc. without much technical knowledge
material
- look around at this wiki and find out what`s needed
